One of Zathos' travelling buddies.
Magrin used to be a high ranking human, until he saw what humans had been doing . They had twisted the minds of their own population, creating racial inequality. He resigned from his post, keeping the reason a secret.
Now alone, Magrin was wandering through a forest, when he was ambushed by a Kobold. The kobold held a knife at his throat, saying “Give me one reason why I shouldn’t kill you right now.”. Magrin stated that he had seen past the propaganda of the centric human race, and was looking for a place of equality where he wouldn’t feel guilty for his actions. The kobold introduced himself as Zathos. The kobold, not quite believing Magrin, strung him up in a net, and carried him with him.
While on his travels, Zathos recieved a taste of his own medicine. A group of Elven Bandits appeared, and knocked Zathos unconscious, which loosened the net. When Zathos woke up, he saw that Magrin was crouching over him, tending to his wounds. The elves had all been killed by Magrin. Zathos would have died had it not been for Magrin, and so he gained his trust. They travelled together, and they reached the town of Raymond.
